Hungarian Forex Association

Founded in 1991, the Hungarian Forex Association – the Hungarian affiliate of the international ACI Financial Markets Association (ACI FMA) – is an organization representing the Hungarian professionals of the money, capital and foreign exchange markets, whose primary objective is the professional development of the Hungarian market by introducing best international practices and experiences. The Hungarian Forex Association adopts the ACI FMA’s ethical objectives for the markets (ACI Codes of Conduct) and assists and supports its members in complying with the business ethical principles set out in the internationally accepted FX Global Code. An important objective of the Association is to represent the professional community in its home country toward regulators. The Association currently has over 160 full members. In addition to the MNB, ÁKK and KELER, the main commercial banks are also associate members.
